Established in 1987 and successfully managed as a nature park by MNS since that time, the area now occupied by Kuala Selangor Nature Park escaped development as a new golf course that would have seen the destruction of many important habitats that are found here.

KSNP now thrives not only as a popular destination to enjoy nature but also serves as an important educational resource to instil a greater appreciation and understanding of the unique habitats found at KSNP and the need for conservation. It also acts as a sanctuary to many different species of flora and fauna such as the endangered Silvered Leaf Monkey Presbytis cristata that KSNP has adopted for its logo. The Park is also extremely accessible with trails of varying distances that enables the visitor to explore the different habitats with bird hides and watch towers situated around the man-made 25 acre brackish water lake system to view the many local and migratory bird species that are found here.

Trails at KSNP

Apart from the trails listed below there is also a Mangrove walkway that takes you into the heart of the mangrove forest where you will be able to see and study the flora and fauna in this unique habitat at close quarters.
