Soon you'll be able to show (roar) your support for the Malayan tiger at our upcoming event, Race Against Time, a tiger day for the public at the zoo.
THE BIG PICTURE:
This event is a component of MYCAT’s Campaign to reduce domestic trade and consumption of tigers and tigers’ prey. Through this, our main goal is to raise public awareness and empower the public, especially youth, to take action towards the reduction of the threats to tigers through interactive booths, games and activities.
THE OBJECTIVES:
1. To raise awareness and concern among the Malaysian public on the critical status of tigers and urgent need for actions.
2. To empower Malaysian public, especially the youth, to take a proactive role towards efforts to reduce the trade in tigers and tigers’ prey.
3. To encourage Malaysian youth to take up careers in wildlife conservation

Venue: Zoo Negara
Time: 9am to 5pm
