The annual celebration of migratory birds returns and the festivities were in full swing at Kuala Selangor Nature Park for Pesta Sayap or Festival of Wings with over 500 participants and visitors from all over the country.

A 10-meter long whale was found beached at Sungai Nenasi Estuary, in Pekan district, Pahang on Monday, 13th October. The young male was alive when he was found but died around 2.00 pm the next day despite all efforts to put him back to sea. The MNS conservation team was on site to further investigate the situation.
